About Clinicoid

Revising a medical module is not a shortage of material. It is the opposite. The questions exist — in past papers passed down a year at a time, in photographs of somebody’s notes, in a group chat forty messages deep where the answer everyone agreed on turns out to be wrong. The work is not finding it. The work is finding the right version of it, in the right order, for the module you are actually sitting.

So students spend the week before an exam doing filing instead of studying, and still finish it without a straight answer to the only question that matters: what do I not know yet? That is the gap Clinicoid was built for — one place where a module’s questions are already sorted, already answered, already explained, and where every mistake you make is kept so you can go back to it.

A study tool that is specific rather than general. Everything in the app is scoped to the one module you are on — the questions, the exams, the mistakes, the search, the tutor — because a revision app that offers you the whole degree at once is a revision app you have to organise before you can use it.

And a tool that is honest about what it knows. An explanation says which page it came from. A question with no answer key says so instead of guessing. A module with nothing in it says it is empty rather than being described in the future tense. None of that is modesty — it is the only way a student can safely trust the parts that are right.

We will not sell what you do here

No advertising, no ad networks, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, and nothing about your studying sold or rented to anybody at any price. What you got wrong at two in the morning is yours. It is written into the Privacy Policy in those words.

We will not put your own department’s material behind a payment

The questions and past papers your course is examined on are free, permanently, without a card and without a trial that quietly ends. A subscription adds our own exercises and Coid Pro — it does not unlock the thing you were already entitled to. See what each plan includes.

We will not print a number we have not counted

Every figure on this site — how many questions a module holds, how many papers, what a month of Pro costs — is read out of the app’s own database when the page is built. There is no rounded-up total waiting for the content to catch up with it, which is why the modules page is honest about how much is still empty.

We will not pretend the AI is never wrong

Coid is a language model reading your material, and a language model can be confidently wrong. So it is built to show which page it took an answer from, it is told to say when it does not know, and it is never the final word on a clinical question. How we handle mistakes sets out what happens when one gets through.

A small independent team. Clinicoid is not run by a university, a faculty or a department, and it is not an official publication of anyone’s course — it is built around Kasr Alainy’s syllabus because that is the course it was made for, and the material in it is credited where it comes from.

There are no names on this page on purpose. What we would rather be judged on is the app: whether the questions are right, whether the explanations hold up against the book, and whether a message about a mistake actually gets one fixed.

Every route in — a wrong answer, a missing module, a refund, a question about the app, press or anything else — goes through one page, and it reaches the people who build it rather than a queue.
