Delete your account

In the app — instant

Open Clinicoid and go to:

Settings → Personal info → Delete account

The app shows you exactly what is on your account — how many questions you have answered, how many hours you have studied, how many chats you have — and then asks you to confirm. When you do, everything is gone that second.

If you have Clinicoid Pro, cancel it first in the App Store or Google Play. Deleting your account does not stop the store from charging you.

By email — if you cannot open the app

Write to support@clinicoid.com from the email address on your account, with the words “delete my account”. We will check that the request really comes from you, delete the account, and write back to confirm — normally within a few days, and never longer than thirty.

We ask you to write from your own address because there is no way to sign in to Clinicoid on the web — accounts live only in the app. A form on this page could not tell you apart from somebody typing your email address, and a deletion nobody can undo is the last thing that should be available to a stranger.

What gets deleted

All of it, at once:

• Your profile — name, photo, email, phone, university, grade and student ID
• Every question you have answered, and every mark and score you have earned
• Your study sessions, study time, streak and all of your statistics
• Every chat with Coid, and everything you have saved from one
• Your flashcards and everything the app has learned about your recall
• Your bookmarks, your mistakes list and your saved searches
• Your friendships — you disappear from other students' lists too
• Your messages, and every photo, voice note and document you have sent
• Your ID-card photo, if you scanned one during setup
• Every device signed in to the account

What we keep, and why

A record that a purchase happened

Tax and accounting law requires us to keep the minimum record of a payment: how much, in what currency, when, and the payment provider's own reference. It carries no name, no email and nothing about what you studied. It is a transaction, not a profile, and it cannot be turned back into a person by us.

A note that the account was deleted

The date, and the reason if you gave one. The account's old identifier is kept with it so we can answer "what happened to my account?" — it resolves to nothing and is attached to no personal data.

Nothing else, and no waiting period

Everything in the list above is removed the moment you confirm. There is no thirty-day window, no archive and no backup copy we can restore from — which is also why nobody at Clinicoid can undo it for you afterwards.

If you only want to stop paying

You do not need to delete your account. Cancel Clinicoid Pro in the App Store or Google Play instead. Your account and everything in it stays, and the free app keeps working.
