Making an account and getting to your first paper.
Your first paper
- One — Install the app
- It works on iPhone, iPad and Android.
- Two — Sign in
- Use Google, Apple (on iPhone and iPad), or your email. Signing in the first time creates your account.
- Three — Set up your account
- Pick your faculty and take a photo of your student card. The app reads your name, student number and year from it.
- Four — Confirm your faculty email
- Sign in to your university email with Google when the app asks.
- Five — Pick a module and start
- Choose your module at the top, open Practice, and try a short paper.
Common questions
Do I have to pay?
No. The app is free at every faculty, with no trial and no card needed.
Clinicoid Pro is optional. It adds Coid Pro, Clinicoid's own exercises and a much bigger AI allowance. Kasr Al Ainy students get some AI for free; at other faculties, Pro is what turns the AI on.
Why do you need my student card?
It shows the account belongs to a real student, and it fills in your details for you. The Privacy Policy explains what we keep.
The card will not read.
Put it flat on a plain surface in good light, fill the frame, and turn off the flash. If it still fails, write to us.
My faculty is not on the list.
You can still use the app for free. It follows the Kasr Al Ainy syllabus, so check how close it is to yours.
Everything is included except the AI (Coid and written-answer marking). Clinicoid Pro turns those on.
